Themes of the 3rd IFTC

For the themes of the Congress, the Scientific Committee especially likes to add the pet- and aqua-food to the IFTC program since feed technology provides additional value (and expenses) for these two industries; the Committee also likes to learn from neighboring technologies in e.g. the food industries.

Poultry development in Vietnam: Challenges and current focus in nutrition research.

Led by Dr. Mai Anh Khoa from Thai Nguyen University, the session will address challenges in Vietnam’s poultry industry, including feed quality, disease control, and cost efficiency. Dr. Khoa will present recent advancements in poultry nutrition research, focusing on sustainable, region-specific solutions for the country's growing sector

Bioprocessing of agro-industrial biomass for ruminant production in developing countries.

The main speaker for this topic is Dr. Nazri Nayan from University Putra Malaysia, who will discuss advanced biomass processing techniques. Other experts will share insights on using biomass sustainably and efficiently to enhance food security and address feed technology challenges.

Feed technology under industrial research conditions in Asia.

Dr. Pairat Srichana from Charoen Pokphand Group Co., LTD., Thailand, will discuss how industrial research conditions impact feed technology, highlighting practical applications and challenges, particularly in Asia, where rapid technological advancements are influencing the field.

Issues related to research into animal feed technology in Western Europe.

Dr. Thomas van der Poel from Wageningen University, a renowned expert in animal feed technology, will moderate this session. He will lead discussions on current challenges, innovations, and regulatory changes affecting the animal feed industry in Western Europe. ​
